Prozo opens 30,000 sq ft fulfilment centre in Kolkata
The facility takes Prozo’s Kolkata network to three centres and is designed to support distribution across eastern and north-eastern India.
Prozo has expanded its eastern India fulfilment network with a new 30,000 sq ft fulfilment centre in Kolkata, taking its network in the city to three facilities.
Located at Prospace Logistics Park in Serampore, West Bengal, the facility has access to Kolkata Port, NH-16, NH-19 and the Dankuni logistics hub. The location is designed to support the movement of goods across eastern India and provide brands with access to wholesale and retail markets and outbound reach to the north-eastern states.
Prozo said the expansion comes as organised retail, e-commerce and manufacturing continue to grow in eastern India, increasing the need for modern warehousing infrastructure. Kolkata serves as a logistics hub for distribution across West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the north-eastern states.
The new facility will operate under the enterprise-grade standards of Prozo’s national network and will be supported by its proprietary Control Tower technology. The technology provides real-time inventory visibility, multi-channel order orchestration and end-to-end operational monitoring.
The facility will support categories including fast-moving consumer goods, fashion and lifestyle, beauty and personal care, healthcare and consumer electronics.

Jakhar said the facility will help customers reduce delivery timelines, improve inventory availability and scale across eastern India through a technology-led and flexible supply chain network.
The facility will support existing clients expanding their operations in eastern India as well as new brands joining Prozo’s multi-client network.
