Prozo expands Maharashtra footprint with new Bhiwandi facility
The 50,000 sq.ft site takes Prozo’s state network to seven centres and 4.1 lakh sq.ft, supporting FMCG, fashion, healthcare and electronics brands.

Prozo has expanded its footprint in Maharashtra with the launch of a new fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi spanning more than 50,000 sq. ft. The addition takes Prozo’s network in the state to seven fulfilment centres, covering a combined area of 4.1 lakh sq. ft.
The new facility is located on the Mumbai-Nashik Expressway and close to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT), placing it at the intersection of the city’s import-export freight corridor and retail distribution network. The site also has direct connectivity to the Eastern Express Highway and the proposed Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor, strengthening Bhiwandi’s position as a major logistics hub with access to Mumbai and wider western and central India.
Bhiwandi has long been recognised as the warehousing and logistics capital of western India, making it a strategic addition to Prozo’s expanding infrastructure network across Maharashtra.
Maharashtra accounts for a significant share of India’s consumption-driven logistics demand, while Bhiwandi has consistently recorded some of the highest Grade A warehousing absorption levels in the country. Prozo said its growing presence in the state reflects the increasing complexity of supply chain requirements among the brands it serves, particularly those operating high-volume, multi-channel businesses in Mumbai and across Maharashtra.
Speaking on the expansion, Ashvini Jakhar, Founder and CEO of Prozo, said: “Maharashtra is central to any serious supply chain strategy in India. Bhiwandi, in particular, is where brands come when they need scale, speed, and reliable connectivity to one of the largest consumer markets in the country. Our new facility here deepens our ability to serve clients operating at the intersection of digital & quick commerce, retail, and offline distribution, with the process discipline and technology backbone they need to grow with confidence. This warehouse is a node in a carefully built network that we intend to keep strengthening.”
The Bhiwandi facility will operate under the same enterprise-grade standards as Prozo’s national network and will be supported by the company’s proprietary technology platform. The system provides real-time visibility, safety compliance and operational flexibility for omni-channel businesses.
The facility is designed to support a range of sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods, fashion and lifestyle, healthcare and consumer electronics. It will further strengthen Prozo’s ability to provide full-stack logistics services to brands expanding across India.
Prozo works with brands including Reliance, TMRW (Aditya Birla Group), Tira, Traya, Minimalist, Beardo, Neemans, Comet Shoes, Bata, Relaxo and VIP (Caprese), along with several enterprise, retail and digital-first companies across FMCG, consumer electronics, healthcare, beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments. The new facility will support existing customers expanding their operations in Maharashtra as well as new brands joining Prozo’s multi-client network.
