Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has inaugurated three new BharatBenz service centres in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh through PPS Trucking. The new workshops located in Jhansi, Kabrai and Chitrakoot are aimed at strengthening BharatBenz’s service reach in key commercial vehicle and mining corridors across the state.

The new workshops will be operated by PPS Trucking, part of one of India’s widely spread automobile conglomerates. The expansion is part of BharatBenz’s strategy to improve service access in regions with high commercial vehicle movement.

The 40,000 sq. ft. workshop in Jhansi has eight service bays and is located along the Kanpur–Jhansi Highway (NH 27). It will support vehicles operating on routes connecting Kanpur, Banda and Gwalior, along with fleets serving the Jhansi stone mining areas.

The Kabrai facility in Mahoba spans 60,000 sq. ft. and includes seven service bays. Located on the Kanpur–Sagar Highway (NH 34), it will cater to trucks operating in Kabrai’s stone mining zone, which is a major loading hub in the state.

In Chitrakoot, the new 11,000 sq. ft. workshop at Bharatkoop has three service bays and will support vehicles operating in the Chitrakoot and Karvi mining belts, along with those travelling towards Prayagraj from Satna and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh.

Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, PPS Trucking, said the new facilities would help the company strengthen customer support across Bundelkhand’s mining and industrial routes. He added that the expansion would provide faster and seamless service support, improve vehicle uptime and enhance profitability for customers.

Rajiv Chaturvedi, President and Chief Business Officer, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, said the new workshops would help provide quicker service turnaround, better vehicle availability and improved operational efficiency for fleet operators in the region.

Together, the three facilities add more than 1,10,000 sq. ft. of service infrastructure and include 18 fully equipped service bays. The workshops have the combined annual capacity to service around 7,500 vehicles.

Each centre is equipped with diagnostic systems, modern tools and genuine BharatBenz spare parts. The network will also provide 24x7 roadside assistance through five mobile reach vans for on-road breakdown support.

The workshops are expected to support the stone mining belt across Bundelkhand, one of Uttar Pradesh’s major heavy-duty trucking zones and an important hub for stone chip transportation.

The facilities also include dedicated driver rest areas and customer amenities. A team of 64 trained technicians will operate the workshops.

The after-sales network will offer maintenance and repair services for BharatBenz trucks and buses, including preventive maintenance, scheduled servicing, on-site repairs and express service options. The spare parts inventory across the region is expected to help reduce turnaround time and vehicle downtime for customers.
