NimbusPost appoints Nitish Gupta as SVP of Technology

NimbusPost, an AI-driven logistics and shipping automation platform, has announced the appointment of Nitish Gupta as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Technology. The move signals the company’s intent to accelerate its pace of innovation and scale its automation-led logistics solutions for the rapidly growing D2C sector.
In his new role, Gupta will oversee NimbusPost’s end-to-end technological vision. His mandate includes managing platform architecture, engineering execution, and data strategy. He will also be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability across the company's product suite, effectively bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.
Gupta will serve as the primary technical authority for the company’s leadership and board of directors, steering long-term platform strategy and decision-making.
Gupta said, "My focus will be on building a robust, future-ready technology architecture that simplifies the inherent complexities of shipping and fulfillment. We have a massive opportunity to set new benchmarks in logistics automation and reliability."
He added that the ultimate goal is to leverage AI-powered insights to transform the platform from a shipping tool into a strategic growth partner for D2C brands.
Gupta brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and technical experience to NimbusPost. He was the founder of Shippigo, where he scaled the company from its early stages by managing product direction and engineering architecture.
Following Shippigo's acquisition by Emiza, Gupta transitioned to the role of CTO. During his tenure there, he successfully spearheaded the delivery of several mission-critical enterprise systems, which included Warehouse Management (WMS), Order Management (OMS), Logistics Management (LMS), and sophisticated Billing Automation and Control-Tower capabilities.
His track record of evolving startup environments into enterprise-grade, multi-team platforms is expected to be a key asset as NimbusPost continues its domestic and international expansion.
