KSH Integrated Logistics has entered Eastern India with the launch of a 60,000 sq. ft. multi-client warehouse in Kolkata, marking the company's first facility in the region and extending its national logistics footprint into a market that is emerging as a key supply chain gateway for Eastern and North-Eastern India.

The facility has been developed as a Grade-A warehousing asset designed to support businesses seeking access to growing consumption centres and trade corridors across the eastern part of the country. The company said the warehouse will cater to sectors including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD) and fintech, offering scalable warehousing solutions that allow companies to expand operations without significant investment in fixed logistics infrastructure.

The launch comes as logistics operators increasingly focus on regional distribution networks to support changing consumption patterns and rising trade volumes outside traditional manufacturing and consumption hubs. Kolkata's strategic position as a gateway to the North-East and neighbouring international markets has strengthened its role in supply chain planning for companies looking to improve distribution reach across eastern India.

Commenting on the expansion, Vinay Patil, Chief Executive Officer, KSH Integrated Logistics, said, "Kolkata is a gateway to an entire region that is evolving rapidly." Businesses today need logistics partners who combine scale with flexibility, and that is exactly what this facility is built to deliver. This is an important step in our vision of building a truly connected logistics network across India."

Beyond warehousing, the facility will provide a range of value-added services, including pre-packing, kitting, MRP stickering and customised supply chain solutions. KSH said the site has been integrated with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms to provide real-time inventory visibility, streamline fulfilment processes and improve supply chain coordination for customers operating across the region.

The company has also incorporated electric vehicles into its last-mile delivery operations from the facility. The warehouse is equipped with fire hydrants, sprinkler systems and other fire safety infrastructure in line with compliance requirements, supporting operational continuity and risk management standards expected by customers across multiple industries.

KSH expects the warehouse to generate more than 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to local economic activity while supporting the development of organised logistics infrastructure in the region.

The Kolkata facility strengthens KSH's national network at a time when logistics companies are expanding capacity beyond established western and southern markets to capture growth in emerging consumption centres. The company said the new warehouse forms part of its broader strategy to build logistics infrastructure aligned with India's evolving supply chain requirements, with additional expansion projects under development across the country.
