JSW Infrastructure has commissioned its Gati Shakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal at Arakkonam in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and received approval to begin commercial operations from 14 April 2026.

The company said Southern Railway, Chennai Division, under Indian Railways, has acknowledged the successful commissioning of the terminal and granted permission to commence operations from the same date.

The approval was received on 14 April 2026 at around 9:45 a.m. via email, according to the company’s regulatory filing.

JSW Infrastructure had earlier received the Letter of Acceptance on 27 June 2024 for the construction and operation of the Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal at Arakkonam, which has been developed entirely on railway land.
