IndoSpace launches Chakan V, its largest industrial park in Pune

IndoSpace has launched ‘IndoSpace Chakan V’, its largest industrial park in India, in Pune’s Chakan region. The park spans 188 acres, involves an investment of USD 120 million, and is IndoSpace’s eighth Industrial and Logistics Park in the region.
This launch expands IndoSpace’s footprint in Pune to 525 acres and aims to meet growing demand from sectors like automotive, engineering, electronics, and third-party logistics.
The new park is located within MIDC Chakan and is connected by national and state highways, including the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Pune-Nashik Highway, Pune-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad Highway, and the Bengaluru-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
Rail connectivity also supports access for manufacturers and logistics operators to ports and consumption hubs across western India. The Chakan –Talegaon corridor recorded 6.7 million square feet of absorption in 2024.
“Chakan has cemented its role as a high-demand manufacturing hub, driven by its strong connectivity and industrial ecosystem,” said Anshuman Singh, Managing Director & CEO, IndoSpace. “With IndoSpace Chakan V, we are strengthening our ability to support the evolving requirements of India’s industrial growth and logistics transformation. This park reinforces our long-term commitment to enabling India’s next phase of infrastructure-led economic expansion.”
IndoSpace Chakan V will include smart infrastructure, low-carbon materials, LED lighting, RFID-enabled technology, electric bikes for intra-park transport, an auto-repair centre, childcare facilities, and sports zones. It will offer built-to-suit options for industries with diverse requirements.
Since 2007, IndoSpace has developed over 60 million square feet of supply chain infrastructure across more than 50 hubs in India. Its services align with the National Logistics Policy, PM Gati Shakti, and Make in India, supporting manufacturing growth and sustainable supply chain ecosystems.
