The International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference (IPSC), 2024, organised by Blue Ocean Corporation, highlighted the emergence of India as an innovation hub for the global supply chain due to the rising power of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The IPSC aims to capitalise on these very prospects by bringing together the industry’s very best global thought leaders, innovators and investors, says an official release from Blue Ocean.

“The IPSC proved pivotal in positioning India as a world leader in economic innovation driving a comprehensive transformation in the supply chain sector," said Sathya Menon, CEO, Blue Ocean Corporation. "As promised, the event was a melting pot of ideas, innovations and strategies that shall shape the future of the global supply chain and enhance global trade and boost the Indian economy.”

Douglas Kent, Executive VP, Corporate and Strategic Alliances, Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), Harjeet Joshi, Former Chairperson, Shipping Corporation of India, Rajiv Bhattacharya, Vice President, Strategy & Projects, V-Trans India, Saleha Shaikh, Founder & Head, Women's Wing, The Maritime Union of India and Nitin Joshi, Head of Warehousing & Logistics, Fab India were some of the speakers at the event.

Sourav Ganguly, former Indian cricket team captain and former chairman, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was the chief guest at the event. "Dada", who has joined the Board of Blue Ocean, said: “I am excited to join and be a Board Member and international brand ambassador for Blue Ocean Corporation. With my background in sports and having faced various situations, I hope I can contribute towards the success of Blue Ocean Corporation and its larger goal of improving logistics across the globe.”
