Hellmann has entered a joint venture with Samvardhana Motherson International (Motherson Group) to establish a new global automotive logistics company, aimed at addressing the growing complexity of the automotive supply chain.

The partnership brings together Hellmann’s global logistics expertise and Motherson’s integrated industrial and automotive supply chain capabilities to create a platform focused on meeting evolving industry demands.

The move strengthens Hellmann’s strategic focus on automotive logistics as a key vertical under its Forward2030 strategy. The joint venture will leverage Hellmann’s global network, integrated 4PL solutions, execution capabilities and advanced supply chain technologies, along with Motherson’s manufacturing footprint and strong relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Operations are planned to begin in June 2026, with expansion already planned across Europe, North America, India and the Middle East.

The companies said the collaboration is based on shared values, an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to long-term growth and sustainability.

Madhav Kurup, Global Chief Operating Officer – Airfreight, Seafreight and Contract Logistics at Hellmann, said the partnership aims to create a global platform that enhances resilience, agility and sustainability across increasingly complex automotive supply chains.
