Gateway Distriparks posts flat Q1 FY27 revenue as PAT declines

Gateway Distriparks has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting total revenue of ₹5.537 billion and declaring a first interim dividend of ₹1.25 per share for FY27.

The company's total throughput stood at 183,867 TEUs during the quarter, down 1.96% from 187,550 TEUs in the corresponding period last year. Rail throughput declined marginally by 0.69% to 92,634 TEUs, while CFS throughput fell 3.22% to 91,233 TEUs. Total revenue remained almost unchanged at ₹5.537 billion compared with ₹5.541 billion in Q1 FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹1.215 billion, while profit before tax was ₹693 million and profit after tax was ₹513 million.

The company said it shifted to the new tax regime from April 1, 2026, under Section 115BAA of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The effective tax rate for the current year was 25.17% compared with 9.57% in the previous year. However, it said the increase in cash outgo for tax payments was insignificant due to the utilisation of accumulated MAT credit.

Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Gateway Distriparks, said the ongoing West Asia conflict led to operational imbalances and higher empty running during the quarter. He added that higher fuel prices, significant revisions in minimum wages and increased input costs affected operations, while consumption and production remained subdued due to uncertainty in the global market.

Gupta said the company remains optimistic about its long-term growth and is continuing to expand its network. Construction has started at the Indore Inland Container Depot (ICD), while the Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Ankleshwar has received customs permission for EXIM business and is expected to begin operations in September. He also said Snowman Logistics is on track to expand its capacity to 170,000 pallets by the middle of next year.
