CPP Investments, IndoSpace acquires 6 logistic parks at ₹30 bln
The transaction involves six fully developed, income-generating assets that collectively span 380 acres.

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and IndoSpace on November 25 announced the acquisition of six industrial and logistics parks in a deal valued at ₹30 billion (C$471 million). Under the terms of the agreement, CPP Investments has committed ₹14 billion (C$217 million) to fund the purchase, further deepening its exposure to the Indian infrastructure market.
The transaction involves six fully developed, income-generating assets that collectively span 380 acres. These parks add approximately nine million square feet of leasable area to the IndoSpace Core portfolio.
The assets are strategically located in India’s primary consumption and manufacturing hubs, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune, reflecting the growing demand for Grade A logistics spaces in these key economic corridors.
CPP Investments currently owns a 93% stake in IndoSpace Core, and this latest injection of capital highlights the continued momentum of the joint venture. The deal is designed to capitalise on the structural shift in India's supply chain, driven by rising domestic consumption and the push for modernised industrial infrastructure.
Anshuman Singh, MD & CEO of IndoSpace said, “With over 60 million square feet developed and under development, IndoSpace has established itself as the largest player in India’s industrial and logistics real estate sector. This acquisition further reinforces the strength of our partnership with CPP Investments, built on a shared belief in India’s potential as a global hub”.
Following this transaction, the IndoSpace Core portfolio will expand to cover 22 million square feet of leasable area across 948 acres. The platform now serves a client base of over 120 global and domestic companies across six major industrial hubs, extending its reach to Hyderabad in addition to the five cities involved in this acquisition.
