The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Phase 1 of an Integrated Logistics Park (ILP) planned in Navi Mumbai.

The project will be developed on approximately 374 hectares of land near Chirle Village in Pushpak Node. It aims to create a logistics hub supported by essential infrastructure, common facilities, social amenities and utility networks.

CIDCO stated that Navi Mumbai is emerging as a key logistics hub due to its proximity to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, and major connectivity projects such as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, the proposed Multi Modal Corridor and the Dedicated Freight Corridor.

According to Shri Vijay Singhal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO, the Integrated Logistics Park is expected to create a future-ready ecosystem that will facilitate efficient movement of goods, attract investments and support economic growth. He added that the pilot phase is an important step towards establishing Navi Mumbai as a logistics hub of national importance.

The development and land allotment for the ILP are aligned with the Government of Maharashtra’s MIDC pass-through policy. A comprehensive master plan has been prepared, dividing the area into seven logistics zones, supported by a primary road network with 45-metre and 30-metre wide roads to ensure seamless connectivity.

As part of the initial phase, CIDCO has invited EOIs through a competitive bidding process for 12 plots in Land Parcel L1, covering around 72 hectares (179.29 acres). CIDCO will develop trunk infrastructure, including roads, water supply systems, sewerage networks and storm water drainage.

Following the selection process, successful allottees will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with CIDCO outlining payment terms and land acquisition. The ILP will support a range of logistics and allied activities in line with the Maharashtra Logistics Policy, including light industries, warehousing, logistics parks, container freight stations and inland container depots.

CIDCO said the initiative is expected to strengthen Navi Mumbai’s position as a logistics hub and support the development of integrated and efficient logistics infrastructure. It also noted that parallel development of social infrastructure such as education, healthcare, sports and entertainment, along with the upcoming airport, is expected to contribute to the region’s growth as an urban and economic centre.
