Allcargo Logistics expands supply chain support for India's MSMEs
The company has expanded its logistics network, increasing connectivity, shipment visibility and distribution capabilities to help specialised clusters reach more markets
Allcargo Logistics is strengthening supply chains for India's specialised MSME clusters by providing integrated, technology-enabled logistics solutions through its Domestic Supply Chain, Express Distribution and Consultative Logistics businesses. The company is helping businesses improve supply chain efficiency, expand their market reach, enhance delivery reliability and scale operations by connecting production hubs with markets across the country.
Over the past year, Allcargo Logistics has supported businesses across specialised manufacturing and artisan clusters, including chikankari garments in Lucknow, carpets in Bhadohi, rubber footwear and slippers in Kanpur, and dry fruits from Jammu & Kashmir. Through multimodal transportation, nationwide distribution infrastructure and real-time shipment visibility, businesses have benefited from faster movement of goods, better planning, more reliable deliveries, improved supply chain visibility and greater access to customers in metropolitan as well as Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV markets.
To support this growth, Allcargo Logistics has expanded its nationwide network. The company has increased its transshipment centres from 21 to 71 and expanded its Allcargo Extended Reach (AER) network to cover 100 percent of India's serviceable PIN codes. The number of mapped PIN codes has increased from 21,000 to more than 32,000, while direct serviceable PIN codes have more than doubled from 4,900 to over 10,000 through Allcargo Distribution Centres. The expanded network enables MSMEs to improve connectivity with metropolitan markets and smaller cities, helping reduce transit times, improve service levels and access new business opportunities.
The company is also helping businesses improve transportation through better route planning, load consolidation and greater supply chain visibility. These measures are aimed at reducing inefficiencies while supporting more resilient and sustainable supply chains.
