Mahindra Logistics, an integrated logistics solutions provider, has expanded its footprint in Northeast India by launching two new multi-client warehousing facilities in Guwahati and Agartala adding over 4 lakh sq. ft. of capacity.
According to a press release from the company, this move is a core component of ‘Go-East’ strategy, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity, boosting operational capabilities, and addressing the surging demand for integrated logistics solutions across the Northeast.
The company will utilise these facilities to provide end-to-end solutions including warehousing, distribution, fulfilment, sortation, and delivery to a diverse range of sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, retail, and grocery.
The service offering covers first, mid, and last mile, milk-run, express, and long-haul line haul services.
Hemant Sikka, Managing Director & CEO of Mahindra Logistics said, “A significant gateway to the Northeast, it expands our nationwide warehousing and distribution network to tier-Il and tier-Ill cities, enhancing connectivity in the remotest locations of the region”.
The Guwahati facility, spread across 3 lakh sq. ft., is highlighted as the largest Grade-A multi-client warehousing facility in North-East India. It is strategically located near NH 17, Guwahati International Airport, and Mirza Railway Station, providing strong links to nearby industrial parks.
The 1.3-lakh sq. ft. Agartala facility is positioned to strengthen connectivity across key consumption and production centers in Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, and Manipur.
Furthermore, its location is designed to establish a powerful platform for cross-border trade with Bangladesh, supporting just-in-time shipments and reliable fulfilment, underscoring MLL's commitment to capitalising on the region's geopolitical and trade potential.
At the close of trading today, Mahindra Logistics settled at ₹354, marking a 1.67% gain.
