Jettainer and India-based IBS Software have announced a long-term strategic partnership to transform how airlines and ground handlers manage unit load devices (ULDs) and cargo operations. The collaboration will integrate Jettainer’s next-generation ULD management solution, JettWareNG, with IBS Software’s digital cargo platforms, iCargo and iPartner Handling, enabling faster and more seamless data exchange across the air cargo ecosystem.
The integration will allow Jettainer’s intelligent ULD solutions to operate within IBS Software’s cargo environment, helping customers improve planning efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance data-driven decision making. Initial integration capabilities are expected to be available by late 2025.
The partnership will also automate ULD move orders, removing the need for manual execution and allowing information to reach the right place more quickly. General process transparency, including sharing tracking data via ONE Record, will provide real-time overviews of ULD positions and availability at individual locations.
As a long-term collaboration, the next phase will enable Jettainer customers who use iPartner Handling to access both services under a single system, eliminating the need to operate multiple platforms.
Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer, said the partnership marks a key milestone in their digital strategy, aiming to create added value and efficiency for customers by connecting data meaningfully. Radhesh Menon, Head of Cargo & Logistics Solutions at IBS Software, added that the cooperation is part of efforts to develop advanced digital tools to make airlines and ground handlers more competitive, offering customers richer and better data.
