Godrej Enterprises Group has launched India’s first 48V Li-ion powered electric hand pallet truck, the GEPT 20, marking a major milestone in warehouse mobility and efficiency. Designed for India’s growing logistics sector, the GEPT 20 aims to meet rising order volumes and the need for faster, safer, and cleaner operations.

The new equipment delivers three times higher productivity than conventional hand pallet trucks. It combines fast lifting, long runtime, precise control, and robust durability to enhance performance in warehouses, retail backrooms, and industrial facilities. With a runtime of over four hours on a single charge, the GEPT 20 can handle loads of up to two tonnes. Its turtle speed mode allows safe operation in high-density workspaces, making it suitable for India’s evolving warehousing landscape.

Anil Lingayat, Business Head, Material Handling Equipment Business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the launch reflects the company’s commitment to transforming India’s industrial sector through innovation and sustainability. “The GEPT 20 is not just a product launch but it’s a strategic step towards electrifying logistics and empowering businesses with smarter, cleaner technologies,” he said.

Powered by advanced lithium-ion battery technology, the GEPT 20 offers rapid charging, zero maintenance, and a longer lifecycle compared to traditional alternatives. The product aligns with Godrej Enterprises Group’s focus on sustainable innovation and its goal to reduce the carbon footprint of India’s logistics and warehousing operations.

As industries such as manufacturing, e-commerce, retail, and infrastructure continue to expand, solutions like the GEPT 20 are expected to play a key role in enabling efficient and environmentally friendly operations, supporting India’s journey towards a future-ready, green logistics ecosystem.
