The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the apex body representing Indian exporters, has entered into a strategic partnership with BRISKPE, a fintech company specializing in cross-border payment solutions. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed at Niryat Bhawan in New Delhi, aims to promote awareness among exporters—particularly Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)—about the growing role of secure, compliant, and efficient digital payments in international trade.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General & CEO, FIEO, and Mr. Indunath Chaudhary, Co-Founder & COO, BRISKPE, in the presence of Mr. Pratik Navale, Nodal Officer from FIEO, and other dignitaries. This collaboration marks a significant step toward equipping exporters with digital tools that can streamline transactions, reduce delays, and strengthen competitiveness in the global marketplace.
As part of the agreement, BRISKPE will conduct knowledge sessions, training, and outreach initiatives for FIEO members. Exporters will gain insights into technology-driven payment solutions that emphasize compliance, transparency, and timeliness. The initiative also covers critical documentation such as electronic Foreign Inward Remittance Advice (e-FIRA) and electronic Bank Realisation Certificate (e-BRC), which are vital for exporters to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure financial credibility.
Through this collaboration, exporters will also be introduced to simplified international collection models across B2B, C2B, and B2C segments, enabling them to optimize cash flow management.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr. Sahai said, “Ensuring smooth and timely payment flows is a vital part of the export ecosystem. Our association with BRISKPE provides a platform to highlight digital solutions that may support exporters in realizing payments faster and with greater transparency, thereby helping them remain competitive in global trade.”
Echoing this, Mr. Chaudhary noted, “Exporters across India, particularly MSMEs, face unique challenges with international payments. Through this collaboration, we aim to share knowledge on next-generation digital solutions that simplify cross-border transactions and enable businesses to manage cash flows more effectively.”
The FIEO-BRISKPE partnership underscores a broader shift toward digital-first trade finance, where technology is expected to play an increasingly critical role in making India’s exporters globally resilient.
