Achilles Information appoints Sameer Rao as head of strategic accounts in India

Achilles Information, a global leader in supply chain risk and sustainability solutions, has appointed Sameer Rao as Head of Strategic Accounts. Based in Mumbai, Rao will focus on strengthening partnerships with key customers in India and across the APAC region, while driving growth for the company.

Rao brings over a decade of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, with a strong record of building and expanding strategic accounts. He has extensive experience managing full-cycle enterprise sales, combining new business acquisition with long-term account growth. His ability to engage directly with C-suite leaders and align complex technology solutions with business needs has been central to his success.

Having worked extensively across India, Singapore, and Australia, Rao has developed a deep understanding of the regional business landscape and customer requirements. He has consistently helped organisations adopt HR technology, collaboration platforms, and cloud-based solutions to enhance resilience and performance. His regional expertise positions him to support Achilles’ customers as they navigate evolving procurement and sustainability challenges.

Rao holds a master’s degree in Mobile Computing from the University of South Wales, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai. He also holds certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Google AI Essentials.
