Currently, the JNPT-DFCC Loading yard is under construction and will be ready by June 2021. DFC will be a game-changer by providing freight only corridor, making it an economical, faster & more reliable option to move goods between JNPT & the Northern hinterland. Upgrading of transportation technology, increase in productivity and reduction in unit transportation cost are also the focus areas of the DFC project.
To fast-track the ongoing railway projects at the Navi Mumbai seaport, the meeting agreed to form a committee of officials from Central Railway, DFCCIL, CONCOR & JNPT.
From 116.09 to 66.16 hours dwell time
