February 18, 2020: The Container Corporation of India (Concor) is all set to start its international operations by transporting goods in the 1400 kilometres from Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh to Chittagong in Bangladesh by the last week of February 2020.
“The corporation with 28 port container terminals was confined to domestic service, but for the first time obtained all clearances from the government of Bangladesh to expand its operations to that country,” reports The Hindu.
For the same reason, Concor will be initiating the Exim terminal operations at its container depot at Guntur from February with 50,000 tonnes handling capacity.
