CMA CGM discharges five heavy-duty heat exchangers at Kolkata port

May 13, 2020: The international shipping and logistics company CMA CGM Group announced the successful discharge of five pieces of heavy-duty heat exchangers from Los Angeles via Singapore at Kolkata Port Trust on May 10.

May 13, 2020: The international shipping and logistics company CMA CGM Group announced the successful discharge of five pieces of heavy-duty heat exchangers from Los Angeles via Singapore at Kolkata Port Trust on May 10.

This marked the first time five breakbulk pieces were discharged in a single shipment at Kolkata. Each unit of heat exchanger was 16.46 meters long, 2.59 meters wide and 2.41 meters high. In addition, each weighed 34.473 MT.

Strict precautions were taken to ensure the health and safety of the CMA CGM Group’s staff and their partners in the context of the global health crisis.

Once again, CMA CGM’s staff demonstrated their professionalism and dedication to execute complex shipments for the benefit of our clients and the Indian economy at large.”
