Softlink Global has entered into a strategic partnership with MatchLog to integrate container optimisation capabilities into its Logi-Sys platform, aiming to improve container logistics and reduce inefficiencies across Asia.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Softlink Global’s cloud-based ERP system, Logi-Sys, will embed MatchLog’s container reuse and optimisation tools directly into its core operational workflows. Logi-Sys acts as the system of record for freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, compliance and financial operations, and the integration brings container asset planning into day-to-day logistics processes.

The partnership strengthens Logi-Sys as a unified operational platform by enabling logistics service providers to reduce empty container movements, improve asset utilisation and enhance planning predictability across regional and cross-border operations.

Amit Maheshwari, Founder and CEO of Softlink Global, said container optimisation needs to be part of a logistics company’s core operating system. He said embedding MatchLog’s reuse intelligence into Logi-Sys extends ERP capabilities beyond transaction management to asset efficiency, helping customers achieve better cost control, planning and execution without adding operational complexity.

Manish Singh, Co-Founder of MatchLog, said container imbalance and empty repositioning remain key challenges across Asia-Pacific trade lanes. He said the collaboration makes container optimisation a seamless part of logistics workflows by integrating it into enterprise ERP systems, supporting better asset utilisation, lower costs and more efficient supply chains.

Softlink Global said Logi-Sys is deployed in more than 100 countries and supports over 1 million users worldwide. The integration is designed to scale across its existing enterprise customer base, allowing logistics companies to adopt container reuse practices in a standardised yet regionally adaptable way.

MatchLog currently works with several global shipping lines, including Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd and Pacific International Lines, and has seen increasing adoption across Asian trade corridors. Through the partnership, its container optimisation capabilities will be made available to a wider enterprise user base through Softlink Global’s ERP ecosystem.
