Air India SATS Airport Services has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samsung SDS to enhance collaboration in air cargo operations and improve the efficiency of handling high-value electronics shipments at Noida International Airport.

The agreement establishes a structured framework between the two companies to enhance cargo efficiency and create a streamlined export pathway, particularly for electronics shipments moving through the upcoming cargo infrastructure at the airport.

The partnership will focus on integrated air cargo and logistics solutions at Noida International Airport, which is expected to serve as a key gateway for India’s growing electronics export corridor.

As part of the development, the AISATS integrated cargo terminal at the airport is designed with an initial handling capacity of 255,000 tonnes per year, positioning it as a critical hub for cargo movement from the manufacturing regions of northern India.

The collaboration is aimed at improving operational efficiency, supporting faster and more reliable cargo movement, and strengthening India’s position as a global electronics export hub.

Senior executives from both organisations, including leadership from AISATS and Samsung SDS, were present at the signing ceremony, marking the formalisation of the partnership.
