Elevating logistics: AAJ SCM to build India’s tallest warehouse

AAJ Supply Chain Management is set to make a bold leap in warehousing infrastructure with the planned launch of a state-of-the-art facility in Tauru, near Gurgaon — one that will stand as the tallest warehouse in India at 21 meters. The warehouse is a BTS property developed by Welspun Enterprises and is expected to be operational in 2025. This strategic expansion not only underscores AAJ’s commitment to innovation but also aims to significantly boost service capabilities across the Delhi NCR.

AAJ Supply Chain Management adopts a vertical approach to warehousing. This increased height allows for multi-tier racking and denser storage, improving throughput and space utilisation. In densely developed logistics hubs like Gurgaon, this vertical advantage directly translates into better efficiency, scalability, and cost optimisation for clients.

Spread across 1 lakh square feet, the upcoming Grade A warehouse will feature world-class design, infrastructure, and full compliance with fire safety norms, structural standards, and industry regulations. The warehouse operations are environmentally conscious, emphasising sustainability and eco-friendly practices already implemented across AAJ’s nine other facilities in India.

This will be AAJ’s fifth warehouse in the NCR, further deepening its regional footprint. Strategically located, the new facility will improve proximity to key consumption centres and transport corridors, enabling faster last-mile deliveries, greater inventory flexibility, and improved turnaround times. Whether for B2B, B2C, or omnichannel distribution, the warehouse will be equipped to handle the evolving needs of modern supply chains — from high-velocity ecommerce fulfilment to complex multi-client operations.
