Maritime Nation India 2017 receives letter of endorsement from Nitin Gadkari

Apr 04, 2017: The 2nd edition of Maritime Nation India 2017 received a letter of endorsement from Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport, Highways and Shipping, Government of India. Expressing his confidence, Gadkari mentioned in the letter that this event will significantly contribute in projecting the opportunities of investment and collaboration in the maritime and logistics ecosystem in India.

Maritime Nation India 2017 will be held in the International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Navi Mumbai from 14-16 September 2017. The Maritime Nation initiative is a unique platform set up by industry professionals, to help the maritime ecosystem achieve more. The maiden tradeshow in 2016, had over 40 exhibitors, 60 speakers, 12 conferences and over 2000 industry professionals from 10 countries.

The tradeshow will bring together the entire ecosystem of the maritime; logistics sector ranging from importers; exporters, forwarders, ship liners; port, shipyard and terminal operators, operators of CFS and ICD, banks and financial institutions, technology providers; equipment manufacturers, cruise lines; travel agents, etc.

The Tradeshow has already received support from International media and has now received support from several Industry Associations, including Indian Merchants Chamber (IMC); Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce and Industry Agriculture (MACCIA); Navi Mumbai Chamber of Business and Industries (NMCBI); All -India Liquid Bulk Importers; Exporters Association (AILBIEA); Institute of Marine Engineers (India); Brihanmumbai Custom House Agents' Association (BCHAA); Association of Multimodal Transport of India (AMTOI); Indian Private Ports and Terminals Association (IPPTA); Saurashtra Port Users Association; Shipbuilder and Shiprepairers Association (SSA) - the UK's fastest growing marine trade association; Shipyards Association of India (SAI); Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI); and Travel Agents Association of India.
