TVS ILP leases Vizag facility to TBIS for Regional Parts Centre
The new centre boosts Toyota parts availability, speeds service timelines and supports industrial growth in Visakhapatnam.;
TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has leased more than 33,000 sq ft of its Visakhapatnam facility in Andhra Pradesh to Toyotsu Bharat Integrated Services (TBIS), a Toyota group company, to open a Regional Parts Centre that will speed up the supply of service parts and accessories for customers in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.
The inauguration of the facility in Visakhapatnam took place recently with senior management teams from Japan and India. By setting up the centre with TVS ILP, TBIS aims to improve parts availability and shorten service timelines, supporting a more reliable customer experience across the two states.
According to the companies, the Regional Parts Centre will help ensure easier access to Toyota Genuine Parts and Accessories and meet changing service requirements in the region. The development is also expected to create local jobs and support Visakhapatnam’s broader industrial growth plans.
Aditi Kumar, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said the partnership highlights how the company’s tech-enabled, build-to-suit and well-connected infrastructure serves its customers. She added that Toyota’s decision to locate its maiden global parts distribution centre at the Visakhapatnam Park shows the value of the ecosystem, which she expects to appeal to sectors such as e-commerce and FMCG as well.
Prakash Nair, Director, TBIS, said South India remains an important market with growing automobile demand, and that Visakhapatnam offers strategic advantages through port connectivity and cost-effective access to South and East India. He said the new centre reflects TBIS’s customer-first approach and its commitment to providing world-class service and support. He also noted that the company chose TVS ILP’s Vizag Park for its strong connectivity and scalable infrastructure.
The new facility expands TVS ILP’s Grade-A warehousing portfolio and aligns with its long-term plan to build high-quality industrial ecosystems across major logistics corridors in India.
