Amazon will start offering public tours of its fulfilment centres in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru from the fourth quarter of 2025, marking the launch of its global Amazon Tours programme in India. The announcement was made during the Delivering the Future event held in Tokyo. The initiative will allow visitors to see the company’s logistics operations, technology, and workforce in action.
Each tour will last 45 to 60 minutes and will be free of charge. Visitors will explore how Amazon stores products, processes customer orders, and prepares them for delivery. The fulfilment centres in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru are among the company’s largest in the country, with the latter spanning over 2 million cubic feet of storage space.
“We've built India's fastest, safest, and most reliable operations network, and now we're excited to give people a chance to see it firsthand,” said Abhinav Singh, VP Operations India and Australia. “These tours offer visitors a behind-the-scenes look at the technology and people working together to deliver for our customers every day.”
Nick Boone-Lutz, who leads the public tours programme at Amazon, said, “We're delighted to bring the Amazon Tours programme to India after delighting visitors across many different parts of the world.” According to him, more than 2 million people have toured Amazon facilities in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, France, Germany, and Italy since 2014.
Tours will run three times a week at each location, with a maximum of 20 participants per session. Visitors aged six and above are eligible, with minors required to be accompanied by an adult. Safety protocols include wearing closed-toe shoes and securing loose items.
Registrations for the tours will open online later this year.
