Apr 20, 2017: Jayem Warehousing, a unit of Jayem Logistics has recently been honored with “Excellent practices in Environment, Health and Fire Safety Award” by AARUSH Fire Systems.
The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) department of Jayem Warehousing is committed in establishing and maintaining environment protection, occupational health and safety at work for its staff, visitors and surrounding communities, said the company in a release. It also said the department has taken measures to prevent incidents or accidents that might result from abnormal operating conditions and reduction of adverse effects that result from normal operating conditions. It is also training and motivating employees to conduct their activities in a safe and environment friendly conditions to restrict accidents.
The release further said that every Jayem Facility across India runs employee safety awareness programs time to time. Employees are trained to handle natural calamities and other adversities through regular mock drills and workshops.
