YCH India expands spare-parts network to accelerate nationwide service
Four DCs and 50+ forward stocking locations strengthen YCH India’s speed, visibility and SLA-driven spare-parts logistics.;
YCH India, the Indian arm of Singapore-based YCH Group, has strengthened its aftermarket spare-parts logistics capabilities with the expansion of its nationwide Forward Stocking Location (FSL) network, supported by four Distribution Centres (DCs) and advanced digital systems. The move is aimed at helping manufacturers and service providers reduce turnaround times and improve service reliability in an increasingly competitive aftermarket environment.
The expanded network comprises over 50 FSLs strategically located across key consumption and service hubs, anchored by a central distribution framework. This setup allows YCH India to position critical spares closer to end customers, enabling faster response times and reduced equipment downtime across sectors such as electronics, consumer appliances, and industrial machinery.
YCH India’s spare-parts model integrates fulfilment, service order management, warehouse operations, and returns logistics into a single, technology-driven ecosystem. Line-haul and zonal delivery partners support national reach, while a dedicated fleet of vehicles and sprinters enables same-day and next-day deliveries in priority markets. Customers benefit from real-time Track and Trace capabilities, with full visibility from order drop to final delivery, including downloadable proof-of-delivery documentation.
Technology plays a central role in the operation. YCH India deploys WX3 dashboards that provide inbound, outbound, and consolidated operational views, alongside Power BI dashboards focused on reverse logistics. These systems support end-to-end shipment visibility, automated part-number validation, carton ID checks, and detection of short or excess quantities, making the network well-suited for vendor-managed inventory and high-SLA environments.
Operational performance metrics underline the effectiveness of the expanded network. Over the past three months, YCH India has consistently recorded on-time delivery levels above 99% across major sites. Its milk-run operations have achieved an overall on-time performance of 99.99%, reflecting a high degree of process discipline and execution reliability.
According to Jossy Sebastian, Country General Manager, YCH India, the spare-parts logistics model is built around speed, accuracy, and resilience. With its combination of physical infrastructure, digital tools, and dedicated transport assets, YCH India aims to support customers in minimizing downtime and meeting rising service expectations across India.
