Allcargo appoints Punit Misra as President to Chairman Office and CBO

Indian logistics company Allcargo Group has appointed Punit Misra as President, Chairman Office & Chief Business Officer(CBO). In this key role, Misra will work closely with Founder and Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty to drive long-term sustainability and strengthen institution-building efforts across the Group. He will report directly to Shetty and be based in Mumbai.

Misra brings over three decades of leadership experience across media, entertainment, and FMCG sectors. Before joining Allcargo, he held senior positions at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, including CEO of India Broadcast Business, President of Content for Broadcast and Zee5 Digital, and President of International Business. Earlier, he served at Hindustan Unilever in various leadership roles, including Executive Director & Vice President, Customer Development for India and South Asia.

Expressing his excitement, Misra said he looks forward to contributing to Allcargo’s mission of sustainable growth, operational excellence, and value creation. He highlighted the Group’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and impact-driven execution under Shetty’s leadership.

Shetty welcomed Misra, noting that his extensive experience in strategy and growth across leading conglomerates would add strategic depth and enhance governance. He emphasised that Misra’s appointment would help deepen execution capabilities, unlock new opportunities, and create sustainable value for all stakeholders as the Group enters its next growth phase.

At Allcargo, Misra will collaborate with the leadership team to oversee strategic goals, drive value creation, and provide broader perspectives for business decision-making under Shetty’s guidance.
