Kale Logistics bags ‘Technology Provider of the Year’ award at Samudra Manthan Awards 2016

Dec 22, 2016: IT solution provider focused on the logistics and airports industry, Kale Logistics was honoured as the ‘Technology Provider of the Year 2016’ at Samudra Manthan Awards. Award was handed over by Deepak Shetty, Director General of Shipping to Vineet Malhotra, Director, Kale Logistics Solutions. The ceremony was presided by Ashish Pedenkar, President, BCHAA and Captain Vivek Bhandarkar, Founder, Bhandarkar Shipping News.

The award was given for Kale’s digital platform CODEX which is India’s first Container Digital Exchange, adopted by Tuticorin Port to enable seamless movement of containers and thereby reducing the container dwell time from 2.5 hours to 25 minutes. CODEX is highly secure platform with dedicated servers and encrypted messaging, which ensures safety and privacy for users of the highest order.

“CODEX is first system to be VGM compliant in conformance with the latest SOLAS Convention. We are the only company to be able to provide a complete platform as opposed EDI message switches. This is a complete new generation platform with cloud, mobile apps and innovative bureau services”, added Malhotra.
