India’s first integrated container mobile app was launched by Kale Logistics Solutions at the Maritime India Summit 2016 in association with the VO Chidamabaranar (Tuticorin) Port Trust and Tuticorin CFS association, the mobile connects to CODEX– India’s First Container Digital Exchange.
Kale Logistics Solutions which developed India’s first Container Digital Exchange- CODEX operational at TuticorinPort, announced the launch of a Container Tracking Mobile App-CODEX for various container stakeholders operating at Tuticorin Port. This will be India’s first Mobile App available for Container Stakeholders and accessible from Google Play store for Android phones. The CODEX Mobile APP will be an extension of CODEX.The launch took place on the sidelines of Maritime India Summit 2016- organized by Ministry of Shipping- Government of India. The summit was inaugurated by Narendra Modi, The Prime Minister of India.
The CODEX- Container Digital Exchange is designed to automate the container movement at Tuticorin Port and reduce the container dwell times considerably. It is an EDI based electronic platform through which communication, information exchange, connectivity and electronic processing of key business transactions/operations can be facilitated between all container stake-holders at the Port and its related logistics value chain.
