Kuehne+Nagel launched a new air logistics gateway in Bengaluru to strengthen its global air logistics network and support high-growth industries, including high-tech, healthcare and automotive. The facility will handle consolidation and deconsolidation of cargo, streamline customs processes, and provide temperature-controlled handling.
The Bengaluru gateway, integrated with Kuehne+Nagel’s digital platforms such as the myKN booking tool, offers real-time visibility and a connected customer experience. The location was chosen for its strong links to hubs like Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Dubai and Chicago, as well as its growing role in international trade and technology.
The new facility enables Kuehne+Nagel to improve load efficiency, reduce costs, enhance routing flexibility and manage capacity across commercial and charter operations. With direct access to major trade lanes in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and North America, it will serve key sectors such as semiconductors, healthcare, automotive, and new mobility.
Yngve Ruud, Executive Vice President, Air Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel Group, said: “With the opening of the Bengaluru gateway, we are giving customers greater connectivity, efficiency, and resilience as part of our global Air Logistics strategy. Together with our recently inaugurated gateways in Milan, Madrid and Toronto, this development strengthens our network to better serve time-critical and high-growth industries. India’s rapid development makes it a key market, and this investment reflects both our commitment to its industries and our ambition to expand Kuehne+Nagel’s global footprint.”
Headquartered in Switzerland, Kuehne+Nagel operates in nearly 100 countries with over 82,000 employees across 1,300 sites. The company is a global leader in air and sea logistics and provides end-to-end supply chain solutions to 400,000 customers worldwide.
