ACS promotes Nick Harris to lead Airline Relations in MEISC
Harris, a 20-year ACS veteran, will support airlines with AOG logistics, crew charters and emergency transport solutions across the region.
Leading aircraft charter specialist Air Charter Service (ACS) has promoted Nick Harris to the role of Airline Liaison Director – Middle East and Indian Subcontinent. The appointment is aimed at strengthening the company’s relationships with airlines across the region.
According to Dan Morgan-Evans, Harris has been with ACS for almost 20 years. He joined the company’s London headquarters in 2006 before moving to Dubai in 2009. In 2014, he became Cargo Director for the region, a position he held for the past 12 years.
Morgan-Evans said Harris will now focus on building stronger partnerships with airlines in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent. He added that ACS works with thousands of airlines globally, both as suppliers and customers, supporting their logistics requirements and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) situations.
The company said the new role will support airlines with urgent logistics and emergency requirements, including passenger charters for crew movements, replacement aircraft leasing and transport of AOG parts ranging from engines to small spares. The role will cover ACS’s cargo, private jet and group charter divisions, with a particular focus on onboard courier and next flight out services.
Commenting on the appointment, Harris said he was excited to begin a new chapter in his career with ACS. He added that he has worked with airlines in the region for more than 15 years and aims to further strengthen existing relationships and support operators in logistical and emergency situations.
