Air India SATS Airport Services Private (AISATS), supported the students of Hyderabad’s Mandala Parishad Pradhamikonnatha Paatasaala (Upper Primary School) in the village Kavvaguda under Shamshabad Mandal with much needed infrastructural aid. The infrastructure upgrade will not only provide the students with high-quality educational facilities but will also prepare them for a better future.
AISATS employees, under the guidance of Yoga Narasimhan, Senior Vice President, AISATS HYD, pursued AISATS’ vision of being a socially responsible company and actively volunteered to provide the Mandala Parishad Pradhamikonnatha Paatasaala with the facilities it lacked.
The objectives of these initiatives were to provide high-quality educational facilities and improve sanitation conditions at the school. To achieve these objectives, AISATS contributed books, library shelves, tables and benches for the classrooms, and sports goods for recreational activities. The volunteers also arranged for construction of toilets at the school to promote good hygiene practices among the students. Additionally a canteen was also built for students to have their mid-day meals comfortably. All these initiatives will benefit 141 individuals including 62 boys, 72 girls and 7 teachers.
Chief financial officer (CFO), AISATS, along with representatives of AISATS and the school, inaugurated the school’s canteen building. A cultural program was organised by the school. Local Sarpanch, Dist. Educational Officer, Zilla Parishad member and mandala Parishad member were also present to attend the event.
Mike Chew, CEO, AISATS said “At AISATS, we believe in contributing to the society. We sincerely hope that providing the children and their school with the infrastructure they need will be a meaningful step in that direction.”
