Adani Logistics launches reefer rail corridor to Mundra Port
Launched with HyFun Foods and Evergreen Marine, the corridor links ICD Virochannagar to Mundra Port, supporting frozen exports via rail.
Adani Logistics has flagged off a dedicated reefer rail corridor from ICD Virochannagar to Mundra Port, enabling seamless, temperature-controlled movement of frozen cargo from Gujarat to global markets. The initiative, launched in partnership with HyFun Foods and Evergreen Marine Corporation, aims to improve export efficiency, reliability and supply chain resilience.
The dedicated corridor will support the movement of frozen cargo through a temperature-controlled rail network, strengthening connectivity between Gujarat and international markets.
With ICD Virochannagar emerging as a strategic multimodal hub, the initiative also reflects a shift from road to rail, improving cost efficiency and sustainability. Adani Logistics said the corridor highlights the growing role of integrated logistics in supporting India’s export ambitions, as the country’s macro growth story continues to drive cargo volumes across India.
