at STAT Times International Awards

The STAT Times International Awards for
excellence in air cargo celebrated the industry's
top achievers on February 20, 2025, in Nairobi,
Kenya. The prestigious event recognised 33 leading
companies across 17 categories for their innovation,
leadership, and excellence. The awards showcased
the best of the industry, acknowledging the hard
work and dedication of companies and individuals
shaping the future of air cargo.

A key highlight of the evening was the Lifetime
Achievement Award, presented to Larry Coyne,
founder and CEO of Coyne Airways. With a
remarkable career spanning finance, management,
and aviation, Coyne has been a champion of air
cargo liberalisation and a driving force behind
industry growth. His leadership and advocacy
have left an indelible mark on the air cargo sector.

The evening also celebrated women leaders in air
cargo, with Gabriela Hiitola of Finnair Cargo and
Racheal Ndegwa of Swissport jointly winning
the Air Cargo Woman Leader of the Year award,
recognising their outstanding leadership and
contributions to the industry.
