Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) has jumped from 28th to 21st among the world’s top 30 container ports, recording 13.6% year-on-year throughput growth in the first half of 2026.
With 4.4 million TEUs handled in H1 2026, JNPA recorded the fastest growth among the global top 30.
India also has Mundra in the top 30, while Dubai’s Jebel Ali dropped sharply amid the impact of the West Asia crisis.
