May 25, 2020: Research Designs & Standards Organisation, the research arm of Indian Railways, launched new milk transporting tanker that could hold 44,660 liters which is much superior to the existing tankers.
In the milk tank, a special stainless steel double-barrel shell with PUF insulation is used to keep the milk chilled during transport, reports The Times of India.
