Tata 1mg has partnered with ClickPost to automate and optimise medicine delivery operations in India using AI-driven Performance-Based Courier Allocation (PBA). The collaboration has resulted in 10 percent faster deliveries, improved customer satisfaction, and enhanced logistics efficiency for Tata 1mg’s healthcare distribution network.

The partnership enables Tata 1mg to make real-time, data-based carrier selections to improve reliability and speed in medicine shipments. The automation replaces the earlier manual process of assigning delivery partners through spreadsheets, which lacked visibility into courier performance.

"After using ClickPost's AI automation, we’ve seen a significant increase in delivery success, and customers are now receiving their medicines faster. The improvement has led to a more efficient supply chain and a noticeable uplift in our customer experience and NPS," said Abhinav Johary, AVP - Supply Chain Operations, Tata 1mg.

According to Tata 1mg, the improvement in delivery times has had a strong impact on chronic medication shipments where consistent timing is critical. The company reported a measurable increase in its Net Promoter Score following the implementation.

ClickPost’s AI-led PBA system analyses real-time metrics such as delivery speed, success rate, and reliability to automatically allocate couriers for each shipment. This has strengthened Tata 1mg’s ability to maintain reliable delivery during high healthcare demand periods.

"Healthcare delivery demands precision. Medicines cannot arrive late and meet the highest standards of reliability. The improvement Tata 1mg has achieved shows what’s possible when you move from manual allocation to AI-led adaptive systems that respond to real-time performance data," said Naman Vijay, Co-founder and CEO of ClickPost.

The initiative is part of Tata 1mg’s broader investment in technology to support reliable medicine delivery across its nationwide operations. The company manages over 800,000 products and serves millions of customers across India through its digital healthcare platform.
