S J Logistics has announced it will expand its Project Cargo Division by launching a dedicated domestic heavy lift transportation vertical. The company has added its own fleet of specialised pullers to handle large cargo in India, aiming to offer end-to-end project logistics solutions across the country.

The new vertical will allow S J Logistics to reduce dependency on external vendors and provide more flexible and reliable services for sectors including power, infrastructure, oil and gas, renewable energy, and heavy engineering. The company said the move will help it manage complex and large-scale cargo movements across varied terrains and project sites.

Rajen Shah, Promoter and Managing Director of S J Logistics (India) Ltd, said, “Our decision to bring heavy lift transportation in-house is rooted in our long-term vision of becoming a one-stop solution provider for project logistics. We’ve taken the first step by deploying our own pullers, and, going forward, we aim to scale this into a broader inland logistics capability.”

S J Logistics has over two decades of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, NVOCC services, and customs clearance. The company operates on an asset-light model and works with a wide network of partners to deliver freight solutions globally.
