Gateway Distriparks has deployed Blue Energy Motors' electric heavy-duty trucks at its ICD Garhi Harsaru facility in Gurugram to drive green freight.
In a major push towards decarbonising India’s freight and supply chain sector ahead of World EV Day, Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), one of the country’s leading multimodal logistics service providers, has integrated Blue Energy Motors’ electric heavy-duty trucks into its commercial freight operations.
The zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles were officially flagged off at Gateway Distriparks’ Inland Container Depot (ICD) located in Garhi Harsaru, Gurugram, Haryana. This strategic deployment forms part of the logistics major's ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable mobility across its extensive transportation network and container logistics framework.
The integration of heavy-duty electric trucks into active commercial freight operations represents a pivotal milestone in the evolution of India's logistics landscape.
