Flipkart appoints Amer Hussainn as VP for Grocery, Minutes supply chain
He will lead strategy, infrastructure and operations to scale two key categories and strengthen customer experience across platforms.

Flipkart has appointed Amer Hussainn as Vice President, Supply Chain – Grocery & Minutes, strengthening its leadership as it scales operations across two key business segments.
In his new role, Hussainn will be responsible for shaping and implementing the supply chain strategy for Flipkart Grocery and Flipkart Minutes. He will lead the scaling of infrastructure and operations in line with business goals, with a focus on stronger cross-functional collaboration and improved customer experience.
Hussainn joins Flipkart from Reliance Consumer and brings more than 25 years of experience in managing complex multi-site operations, building agile supply chain networks, driving operational excellence, and leading digital transformation and sustainability initiatives.
Before Reliance, he held leadership roles at Jubilant FoodWorks and The Coca-Cola Company. During his more than 20 years at Coca-Cola, he worked across manufacturing, supply chain, environment and sustainability functions, and was responsible for setting up the company’s first Digital Lean factory.
Commenting on his new role, Hussainn said he sees a strong opportunity to contribute to Flipkart’s larger purpose by using supply chain excellence to deliver value and support the aspirations of consumers, sellers and the wider ecosystem.
Outside of work, Hussainn practices Pranic healing meditation and enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and learning about history with his family.
