Crown expands exXtra storage service to six Indian cities
The valet storage service offers doorstep pickup, secure storage and on-demand return, with customers able to manage inventory and payments online.

Crown Worldwide Group has expanded its exXtra valet storage service to six major cities in India. The service is now available in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune.
The expansion will make exXtra’s storage services available to more households and businesses in markets with growing urban populations and changing space requirements. It also builds on Crown Worldwide Group’s more than three decades of experience in India across logistics, relocation, warehousing and related services.
Storage needs are no longer limited to relocation. Customers may require additional space for items they do not use every day, such as seasonal clothing, books, sports equipment, bicycles, documents and personal keepsakes.
Storage may also be needed during home renovations, moves to smaller homes or when residential spaces are adapted for work and other purposes.
exXtra offers doorstep pickup, secure storage and on-demand return of belongings. Customers can schedule pickups, track their inventory and manage payments through an online portal.
The service draws on Crown Worldwide Group’s capabilities in handling, moving and storing belongings. The company has been present in India for more than 30 years and said its operational experience supports the service as people and businesses change how they use and manage their space.
Praveen Joseph, Assistant Vice President, South Asia, Crown Worldwide Group, said storage is increasingly becoming part of how people manage their lives and spaces rather than something used only at a particular point in time.
“Our role is to take the complexity out of that experience. With our understanding of moving, handling and storing belongings, we can offer customers a solution that gives them greater freedom over the space they have, without requiring them to make decisions about what to keep or let go,” he said.
Crown Worldwide Group said exXtra will continue to explore opportunities to expand across India through phased launches. Future growth will be guided by customer needs and demand in emerging markets where the company already has a presence.
