In a major push towards decarbonising India’s last-mile logistics, MoEVing has joined hands with Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle’s leading dealers, Pascos, Johar Automobiles and Bhandari Automobiles to lease 700 electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs), including the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV. These vehicles will support last-mile deliveries in e-commerce, logistics and FMCG sectors across more than ten Indian cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The deployment is expected to cut carbon emissions by nearly 2,000 tonnes annually, contributing to India’s Net Zero 2070 goal.

The collaboration introduces a new business model for clean transportation in India. Under this arrangement, Tata Motors dealers will own and maintain the fleet, while MoEVing will operate it. This model enhances operational efficiency and promotes scalable, sustainable mobility solutions. The initiative will cater to over 20 enterprise clients across various sectors and is projected to clock 25 million green kilometres every year, demonstrating the environmental and economic advantages of EV-led logistics.

Vikash Mishra, Founder and CEO of MoEVing, said the company aims to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission mobility across India’s logistics network. He noted that MoEVing’s leasing model will simplify fleet ownership and maintenance, making large-scale EV deployment more viable. Mishra added that this marks the largest deployment of Tata electric commercial vehicles in the country.

Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said the partnership reflects Tata Motors commitment to driving India’s transition to green mobility. He highlighted that the Ace EV and Ace Pro EV offer strong performance, reliability and flexibility to meet diverse customer needs. Tata Motors’ nationwide network of over 200 dedicated EV support centres will ensure high uptime and quick service for the vehicles.

With this new addition of 700 EVs, MoEVing further strengthens its leadership in sustainable last-mile logistics. The company currently operates over 2,500 electric vehicles, including more than 500 four-wheeler cargo EVs, the largest such fleet in India serving 75+ clients across sectors such as FMCG, e-commerce, grocery, furniture and 3PL. Through technology-driven fleet management and strategic partnerships with OEMs, dealerships and financiers, MoEVing continues to set industry benchmarks for efficient, reliable and zero-emission logistics solutions across Indian cities.
