Isa Logistics has launched a major electric vehicle (EV) integration programme, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable transport as India’s commercial EV market continues to grow rapidly. The company aims to enhance reliability across its operations while reducing fuel dependence and emissions.

The initiative comes at a time when India’s EV sector is set to expand at a compound annual growth rate of over 40% through 2030, supported by government policies, the FAME II incentive scheme, reduced GST on EVs and components, and a growing charging infrastructure of more than 2,500 public points nationwide. Isa Logistics has carefully planned the phased deployment of electric light-duty vans and last-mile delivery vehicles to ensure optimal range and turnaround times.

With more than two decades of experience in inland transport, Isa Logistics operates a core fleet of 126 company-owned trailers and over 50 units through aggregator partnerships. Its Transport Team uses intelligent tracking systems to monitor cargo in real time, guaranteeing on-time deliveries regardless of distance or terrain. By integrating EVs into this framework, the company expects to maintain its punctuality while benefiting from lower fuel and maintenance costs.

Electric vehicles can cut fuel expenses by up to 60% compared to diesel and reduce maintenance due to fewer moving parts and regenerative braking. The switch also supports India’s clean air goals, potentially cutting tailpipe emissions by 1.5 kilograms of CO₂ per kilometre. “Integrating EVs into our fleet is not only a step towards environmental responsibility but also a strategic business decision that ensures efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and a sustainable future for our operations,” said Suresh Suvarna K, Director of Transport at Isa Logistics.

He added that the company is exploring AI-driven route optimisation and long-term collaborations with infrastructure partners. Isa Logistics’s EV programme reflects a broader vision of decarbonising supply chains while delivering high service quality. The rollout over the coming quarters will include further enhancements to its sustainability roadmap, partnerships with charging-network developers, and transparent performance reporting to stakeholders.

By embracing green mobility, Isa Logistics positions itself at the forefront of India’s logistics transformation, combining operational excellence with environmental stewardship.
