IndiGo strengthens cargo operations with ACL Airshop partnership
ACL Airshop brings smart ULD tech and global support to power IndiGo’s rapid cargo and fleet expansion.

ACL Airshop has entered into a multi-year agreement with IndiGo, India’s largest airline, to provide full Unit Load Device (ULD) management and logistics services for both cargo and passenger operations. This deal marks ACL Airshop’s official entry into the Indian market and supports IndiGo’s expanding operations across domestic and international routes. The partnership includes the supply and management of IndiGo’s ULD fleet, covering present and future operational needs. As part of the agreement, ACL Airshop will also deliver maintenance and repair services, access to its global network and short-term fleet, along with the integration of next-generation tracking technology into IndiGo’s ULD system.
Bernhard Kindelbacher, CEO of ACL Airshop, said, “We are very pleased to announce this strategic partnership with one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines. This collaboration not only reinforces our position as a global ULD management services leader but also allows us to support IndiGo wherever their growth journey takes them.”
Commenting on the development, Mark Sutch, Chief Commercial Officer, Cargo at IndiGo, said, “As our requirement for ULDs grows, we are delighted to be partnering with ACL Airshop and appreciate that they could quickly and efficiently respond to IndiGo’s requirements and were fully operational in a short span of just two months.”
