SkyDrive’s eVTOL plan for India’s healthcare logistics

X

SkyDrive started in 2015 as a group of engineers at a major Japanese automaker dreaming of building a flying car. Today, the company is looking at a very different opportunity in India i.e. cargo and medical logistics.

Through an MoU with Air India and Suzuki, SkyDrive is studying eVTOL medical logistics in India, with potential use cases ranging from transporting radioactive cancer-treatment isotopes to hospitals, moving organs and emergency medical supplies across Delhi NCR, and even delivering critical aircraft spare parts to airports during AOG situations.

Can flying cargo become the next big solution for India’s healthcare and aviation logistics?
