DTDC delivers by boat : Kerala’s new waterway last mile

DTDC Express has launched Vallam Express, a waterway-based last-mile delivery service in Kerala’s Kuttanad, bringing parcels directly to backwater communities that road networks cannot easily reach.

The unique part? DTDC has partnered with Kerala’s traditional oarsmen, using their knowledge of the backwaters to navigate narrow waterways and deliver parcels to customers’ doorsteps.
