Turkish Airlines signs five-year ground handling pact with Vienna Airport
The agreement covers passenger, baggage and aircraft handling services and will run through to 2030.

Turkish Airlines has entered into a five-year ground handling agreement with Vienna Airport, covering services ranging from passenger care to baggage and aircraft handling, further reinforcing their long-standing partnership. The contract runs until 2030.
The airline has been serving Vienna for nearly 65 years and currently operates five daily flights between Vienna and Istanbul, one of Europe’s major aviation hubs.
Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport, said Turkish Airlines is one of the airport’s most valued airline partners and its fifth-largest airline. He said the decision reflects confidence in Vienna Airport’s operational quality and reliability, adding that efficient processes and strong ground handling teams help make Vienna one of Europe’s most punctual hubs.

Turkish Airlines operates five daily flights between Vienna and Istanbul, connecting Austria’s capital with one of the world’s largest aviation hubs. More than half a million passengers travel with the airline via Vienna each year. The airline also offers cargo capacity through belly freight on passenger flights, supporting global air freight connectivity.
Vienna Airport provides full-scope ground handling services from a single source, including passenger services, ramp handling, baggage and aircraft handling, crew transport, catering logistics, aircraft cleaning and de-icing. The airport also handles freight, including temperature-controlled cargo, supported by structured processes, experienced staff and a focus on operational excellence.
